Lynx Edicions, Barcelona.〕 found in South and Southeast Asia. ==Taxonomy and systematics== Formerly included as part of the genus ''Macronus'' (also spelt "''Macronous''"), the species has since been transferred to the genus ''Mixornis'' following an analysis of both mitochondrial and nuclear genes that showed that the genus was not monophyletic.
